Alphington Netball Club is a community-based, volunteer-run Netball club based in Alphington, Victoria.
Goal: The goal of this project was to strategically plan and deliver a digital transformation for Alphington Netball Club. WebSolutionZ has worked with ANC since 2017 so we have extensive background knowledge of the organisation's goals and requirements and we were able to provide guidance and direction to develop a fresh approach for 2023.
Requirements: The existing website was several years old and the software had reached end-of-life. However, the site was well structured and the majority of the content was fine to keep. As a volunteer-run organisation, committee members change regularly and it was important for the club to have a platform which was simple for them to self-manage content updates.
Recommendation: Based on these requirements, we recommended a Squarespace website as these sites are very simple to use, require minimal management and overheads, and Squarespace provides free comprehensive video and text-based instruction manuals.
Outcomes: The new website maintained the homepage animated slideshow and overall structure. Existing images were reloaded to ensure they were as high-resolution as possible, and new images were added. We focussed on building a bold and streamlined website that would be easy to manage. The site structure includes a comprehensive navigation, image galleries, an FAQ and a contact form.
